The Alex Hood is a hooded scarf that can be worked back and forth in a simple 2 x 2 rib pattern. It is made with 1 strand Merino + 1 strand Soft Silk Mohair held together.
The Alex Hood can be worn with the hood down like a normal scarf or, in very cold weather, with the hood up to protect head and face from wind and weather.
The knitting kit includes:
- 3 balls of Merino by Knitting for Olive (100% merino)
- 3 balls of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (70% mohair - 30% silk)

- French and English pattern to buy on Ravelry
- 3.5 mm needles
