Ulysse by De Rerum Natura

Ulysse, like its big brother Gilliatt, is a woolen-spun yarn made from a blend of white French Arles merino (from Provence) and black Portuguese merino (from the Alentejo Valley), sourced with respect for animal welfare and a commitment to valuing their wool.
All stages of the yarn's production are carried out locally (washed in Belgium or Italy, spun and dyed in France) with a constant focus on traceability and minimizing environmental impact.

It is available in natural shades resulting from the mix of brown and white fleeces (“sel”, “poivre blanc”, “poivre et sel” and “poivre”), as well as in a palette of subtly heathered dyed colours.

A perfect yarn for knitting:
Ideal for colourwork, but also well-suited for delicate cables or showcasing beautifully rustic lace.

Please note that very dark or particularly saturated colours are more likely to bleed during blocking. If you plan to knit with lighter colours, we recommend that you test a swatch first. If you find excess dye in the first wash, we recommend that you repeat the rinse bath until it is clear before drying your work.
