The construction of these mittens begins with the thumb, which is set aside while you work the fingertips and finish with the cuff, making it easy to adjust the fit to your preference.

Tip: We recommend dividing your skeins in half before starting to ensure you have enough yarn to knit two identical mittens. The mitten length is generous, so don’t worry if you end up slightly shorter than the suggested measurement.

• 100 g of Orséto by Fibre Carpe Diem (70% Highland Wool, 30% Superfine Alpaca)

• 20 g of Calantra DK by Fibre Carpe Diem (100% Highland Wool, non-superwash)
