We've got a new pattern with new color kits for 2024.

What is a weather blanket? The concept is simple: you knit a row for each day of the year, using a wool color corresponding to the day's temperature.

The model we propose is knitted in the round, in jersey, so it's almost just right-angled stitches. At the end of the year, all you have to do is cut the knitting to make bangs, with the advantage of no thread to tuck in. Also, on the first of each month, you'll knit a row of throws to separate the 12 months.

For this edition, we've prepared 4 new color kits. We've avoided having similar colors "side by side", to avoid color blocks and get a more colorful look. The number 1 represents the warmest color and 9 the coolest.

This is a starter kit. It includes one skein of each color. As we cannot predict the temperature, we cannot supply enough wool for each color. You'll just have to buy the missing color over the course of the year... so save your tags!

Knitting kit includes:

• 900 g Vintage by Berroco (52% acrylic / 48% wool / 8% nylon)
• Card with instructions for temperature calculations.

You'll need (not included in kit):

• Free English and French pattern on Ravelry (pattern will be available in French by January 1, 2024)
• Needles: 5mm and 6mm needles
• Markers
• Blocking kit

Difficulty level: Easy

(Final sizes/dimensions): Approx. 100 cm X 165 cm

Care: machine wash on gentle cycle, dry flat.
