A pretty blanket with a modern crochet look. The white borders highlight the color palette you've chosen. You'll be able to crochet your strips very quickly without consulting the pattern, thanks to the simplicity of the stitch. The kit allows you to make an 80 cm X 100 cm blanket.
To make a larger size, you could also add your remaining wool and take one or more extra balls for the borders.
Never crocheted before, no problem, just follow Sylvie's tutorials on Youtube.
Crochet kit includes:
- 400 g Lana DK Beluga by Fibre Carpe Diem ( 85% washable merino and 15% nylon)
- or 400 g Vintage DK 2101 (off-white) by Berroco (52% acrylic / 48% wool / 8% nylon)
- 2 identical “pencil box” boxes of 10 mini skeins by Koigu (100% merino)
Important the mini skeins must be crocheted with two strands.
You will need (not included in the kit):
- English pattern to buy on Ravelry
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
- Blocking kit
Difficulty level: beginner / easy
