Candide shares similar technical characteristics with Ulysse: it is a 2-ply yarn with 185 m per 50 g.

The addition of cotton in its composition gives it extra softness, a cooler feel, and better structure than its pure wool counterpart. The subtle flecks of cotton create a gently heathered texture, more or less pronounced depending on the color. Like many woolen-spun yarns, it may feel slightly dry at first, but it softens and blooms beautifully after washing.

Particularly well-suited for textured stitches, it also offers a lovely natural and relaxed look in stockinette and garter stitch, while bringing a slightly raw, authentic feel to lace patterns.
