Head sizes
Although it is preferable to work with actual measurements when knitting hats, this chart gives you a guide depending on the age required.
The circumference of the hat should measure about 2.5cm less than the actual head measurement. Simply run a tape measure from the forehead, about 2.5cm above the brows, and then around the bump behind the head (the tape will be on the diagonal). All measurements are in centimeters.
