Product Details

Cecil shawl is a large crescent-shaped shawl knitted from tip to tip, avoiding rows with lots of stitches. The mohair is combined with a weft yarn to create different abstract shapes throughout the shawl, which look great wrapped around the neck or flat on the shoulders.

Knitting kit includes:

• 220g Scala wool by Carpe Diem (100% merino wool)*
• 150g Allegra mohair by Carpe Diem (72% mohair and 28% silk)

You'll need (not included in kit):

• English pattern to buy on Ravelry (English/French knitting lexicon)
• 3.75mm needles, or those needed to obtain the right sample, 25 stitches per 36 rows for 10cm in moss stitch
• Blocking kit

Level of difficulty: easy

(Sizes/Final dimensions): 216 cm by 40 cm

Care: Hand wash, dry flat.

*The pattern calls for 1200 sts of fingering, but we supply 860 sts, which was enough for our knitted shawl and those of the pattern testers.
