Pernilla by Filcolana is a 3-ply yarn spun from 100% wool. The wool used for Pernilla comes from Peruvian highland sheep, a cross between corriedale and merino. The sheep live in the Peruvian highlands, which gives the wool a very fluffy, matte appearance.

Pernilla is suitable for all kinds of projects - knit or crochet for children and adults, and the work can be felted.

Mulesing is not used for sheep from the Peruvian highlands.
