The narrow, asymmetrical shawl features one main color and five mini-bands of color representing each of Henry VIII's queens (and the length of their marriages); Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Katherine Parr.

Important: The kit is for the mohair-free version. Recommended needle size is 4mm. You should have a sample of about 20 stitches per 10 cm. 

Knitting kit includes:

• 100 g Lana fingering by Fibre Carpe Diem (85% merino superwash, 15% nylon)
• or 100 g Cottage sock wool by Coates & Co (85% merino superwash, 15% recycled nylon )
• 1 set of Cottage socks mini skeins by Coates & Co (75% merino superwash wool, 25% nylon)

You'll need (not included in the kit):

• French and English pattern to buy on Ravelry
• 4 mm needles
• Blocking kit
