Lovely wool

I made a scarf with this wool and it was a pleasure to work with. There was no sticking and the feel during knitting was lovely. The finished product was very soft with excellant drape. This wool was far superior to an equivalent wool from another brand that I made a similar scarf with.

Composition

SilkYarns

The softest mix of Mohair and silk. You can use this yarn on its own or with another thread for a lighter result. It's like knitting a cloud! The silk gives a beautiful shine, and the mohair makes for the softest yarn. We love it!

Emilia & Philomène offer the same range of colours no matter the base. Since Mohair is often knitted along with another fiber, this makes it easier to make sure both threads have the exact same colour.

Hand-dyed by Amélie in the Estrie region of Quebec. Amélie loves classic colours that never go out of style.

Ideal for:

Perfect for your light projects or to double a thread to give softness and voluptuousness.

Product info:

  • Fiber: 72% Mohair and 28% Silk
  • Weight & yardage: Laceweight, 50 grams and 459yards (420 meters)
  • Needles: Recommend 1mm to 2.5mm
  • Gauge: 28 stitches for 4 inches (10 cm)
  • Care: Hand wash, warm or cold water

Colours may appear different from screen to screen. To achieve a uniform result, we recommend that you alternate skeins.
