Laine Magazine - Worsted by Aimée Gille de La bien aimée
By Laine Magazine

Product Details
Aimée Gille was born and raised in Kansas, USA, then moved to France, where her passion for knitting was rekindled. In Paris, where she now lives with her family, she first opened L'OisiveThé, a wonderful knitting café, and later La Bien Aimée, a yarn company whose beautiful hand-dyed yarns are sold worldwide.
With Worsted, Aimée wanted to create a tangible way to connect with people through knitting and bring joy. During the challenges of the past 18 months, Aimée found solace in immersing herself in the creation of a new yarn base, Corrie Worsted, and inspired by it, all of the patterns in the book are worked with worsted yarn.
In Aimée's own words, "I hope you'll welcome the adventure of starting a new project from this book with perhaps some of that beloved yarn you've been organizing for your stash, or why not go on a yarn escapade and mix Corrie Worsted with other yarns.
The sweaters and cardigans are sized from size 1 (30" / 75 cm chest size) to at least size 8 (or 65" / 165 cm chest size).
This edition of Laine Magazine - Worsted by Aimée Gille includes:
- 160 pages
- 14 knitting patterns such as; 5 sweaters, 2 cardigans, 1 poncho, 3 shawls, 2 bowls and a toque, all using worsted size yarn.
- Editor: Aimée Gille
This book presents the creations of the following designers: Nadia Crétin-Léchenne, Stephen West, Sylvia Watts-Cherry, Andrea Mowry, Tif Neilan, Saysha Greene, Norah Gaughan, Maxim Cyr (a Quebecer), Nancy Marchant and Thien-Kieu Lam.
