This hat, knitted in 1x1 ribbing with small single stitch twists, is a basic piece to have in your wardrobe. It will warm you up in early spring or even in fall. With its sleek design, it becomes an all-purpose toque.
This was a collaboration in June 2020 for our Discovery Boxes with Jean-Philippe Cliche.
Perfect for learning one-stitch twists, and for reading a pattern. This design is knitted from bottom to top.
With 4 strands, 2 fingering yarns and 2 mohair yarns, this toque knits up very quickly.
Knitting kit includes:
- 100 g of Lana by Fibre Carpe Diem (85% washable merino and 15% nylon)
- 50g of Allegra by Carpe Diem Fiber (72% mohair and 28% silk)
You will need (not included in the kit):
Level of difficulty: intermediate
(Final sizes/dimensions): O/S(one size) one size. Head circumference: 55-58 cm
Tips: Negative 5-10 cm as requested by the designer, charted, twisted and knitted with 4 strands.
Care: hand wash and dry flat.
