Corbis offers a rhythmic weave effect to tactile diamond shapes. The playful tassels that adorn the border echo the shapes of the diamond pattern, further contributing to the lines and movement of this beautiful, versatile scarf.

Corbis is a triangle shawl that knits up and down from the center out, starting with garter tab assembly. Instructions are given for shawl with or without the knotted tassels.

The pattern contains 3 photo tutorials; one for the center eyelets that are used to tie the tassels, one for the Icelandic flap and one for making the tassels.

Due to the relatively high repetition, the majority of the stitch patterns are CHART ONLY.

• Recommended yarn quantity of Opus by Walcut Yarns

You will need (not included with kit):

• Pattern: English pattern to purchase on Raverly.
• Needles: 3.25 - 3.75 mm - US 3 - 5 circular needle. It will be important to make your sample and get 28 stiches for 10 cm. You may need to adjust needles accordingly. 

Level: intermediate

Final measurement: approximately 180 cm / 71" along the top edge and 70 cm / 27.5" deep.

Sample measured after blocking:
Basketweave 20 m x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4" on needle A.
Diamond cables 20 m x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4" on needle B.

Care: hand wash in cold or warm water

Colours may appear different from screen to screen. To achieve a uniform result, we recommend that you alternate skeins.
