Knitting kit - Sweater Carré by Jennifer Beale

One of my favorite songs is "Where the Streets Have No Name", by U2. That's why this sweater attempts to subtly embody the city center of Mannheim: "Quadrate" where the streets have no name. Carré is worked from top to bottom, with a ribbed and slipped-knit pattern, decorated by a beautiful and unique lace and jacquard stripe. Drooping shoulders are formed with shortened rows, then the lace and jacquard band is created on the part with the widest span. Sleeves are closed using the 3-needle folding technique. The lower part of the body is worked in the round.

Knitting kit includes:

• The required quantity of Mélino wool by Fibre Carpe Diem (83% washable merino and 17% linen)
  

You will need (not included in the kit):

• Pattern available in French in the Québec print magazine Fibre no.2
• 3.5 mm circular needles
• 4 mm circular needles, length 100 cm
• Removable and fixed markers
• Blocking kit
